SERMON PREVIEW

This week we’re looking at the angry man Amos. Amos is the only prophet who lived in one nation and was called to prophesy to another nation. What do you think his message will focus on? Join us Sunday as we learn Amos’s message for horizontal justice.

We hope you will join us in person on Sunday at 10:30 AM or watch online.

BABY DEDICATION
We are celebrating a baby dedication milestone on Sunday, March 29 during the 10:30 AM service!
At South Suburban we celebrate child dedications as a milestone where parents publicly commit to teach and train their child in the Lord and formally invite the church to partner with and support them in pointing their child to Jesus. While this is not a saving act, this is a special occasion for both the individual family and the church to affirm the gift of children from God, express their resolution to teach children about the Lord, and publicly pray for the child and the parents.
If you are interested in participating in this special milestone or have questions, contact Erin at ErinR@ssefc.org by Sunday, March 15.

Sunday morning Equip is meeting at 9 AM. Wednesday night Youth Group is meeting at 6:30 PM.

Coming up March 15: Join us for the next Equip class, "Making Sense of Us". We will meet in the Fellowship Hall at 9 AM. Click HERE for a preview.

The Matthew Equip class will continue meeting in Room 255 through April 5.
Join us Saturday, March 14 from 9:00 AM - 10:30 AM in the Fellowship Hall as we kick off an expanded Men's Ministry! Join us for a continental breakfast, fellowship time, brief devotional, and a discussion on what the future holds for the Men's Ministry (no monster trucks and fireworks). Please register using the button below so we can get a general headcount. We hope to see you there! For any questions, please reach out to mensministry@ssefc.org.

THANK YOU!

The Staff at South Suburban would like to express our sincere appreciation for the heartfelt and generous gifts received during the Christmas season. We are truly blessed and honored to serve the South Suburban congregation and find great joy in serving the Lord together. As we seek to be faithful in our pursuit of Jesus, we are excited to see how God will continue to unite us, drawing us all one step closer to Him. Thank you!

ALL-CHURCH SKATING EVENT

Join us for an all-church evening on the ice! We will be skating at the Eagan Civic Arena (click link for map) from 6:30 PM - 8:30 PM on Sunday, March 8. The event is free, but there is a fee to rent equipment: skate rental is $2, helmet is $1, skate-aid is $2. Even if you don't skate, plan to join us and fellowship with others.

MEAL TRAIN

South Suburban Church periodically uses a meal train to support a church family in need with meals when a new baby is born, or someone is recovering from surgery or illness. Also, sometimes we have a need for donations of bars/cookies for a funeral or other church event. If you are interested in being notified when a meal train need comes up, please email the office: info@ssefc.org and we will add your name.
