Throughout Scripture God enters into relationship with people by making covenants with them. These covenants come with hope and expectation, as well as consequences when the covenant is broken. The book of Micah serves as a reminder of these truths: that we are the covenant people of God, whom God calls to holy and upright living but will suffer consequences for covenant unfaithfulness.
