Watch your life and doctrine closely.
1 Timothy 4:16
Growing closer to Jesus is something none of us can do alone. We need both a deeper understanding of who God is (doctrine) and support in living out that truth in our daily lives (life). To help you take those steps, we offer a variety of groups for every age and stage of life. Each one is designed to help you learn, grow, and walk with others as you follow Jesus.
LIFE GROUPS
Life Groups are a meaningful way to live out the truths of Scripture together in a smaller, more personal setting. Meeting in homes and other locations throughout the week, these groups offer a space for accountability, fellowship, and encouragement as you follow Jesus. No matter your stage of life, you’ll find support, friendships, and a place to grow in every area of your walk with Him.
EQUIPPING CLASSES
Equipping Classes are designed to help you grow deeper in your knowledge of God and His Word. Taught by gifted teachers from within our congregation, these classes offer intentional, practical training in understanding the truths of Scripture and applying them to everyday life. All of our Equipping Classes meet on Sundays at 9:00 am, either in the Fellowship Hall or in our upstairs Adult Classes wing.
COMMUNITY GROUPS
Community Groups are a simple, welcoming way to connect with others at South Suburban. These groups meet around shared interests or during specific seasons of the year, making them easy to join and easy to enjoy. Whether you’re looking to build new friendships, try something new, or just get more connected, there’s a place for you. Scroll down to explore our current Community Group offerings.

Matthew
Making Sense of Us
The book of Matthew paints a powerful portrait of Jesus as Israel's long-awaited Messiah, the one who would bring God's kingdom to earth and fulfill his promises to his people. Join us as we encounter God's one and only Son: Jesus Christ, the Savior of the world. Meeting upstairs in room 255.
Making Sense of Us is a 7-week video curriculum that explores key narratives that have shaped Western culture. You’ll see how these stories fall short and how the one true story of the gospel fulfills our deepest longings. Meeting in the Fellowship Hall.
