We’ve seen the theme of the “Day of the Lord” come up regularly through the prophets so far, but this is the week we see explicitly what that means. Israel and Judah assumed that this day would be a day of celebration, of overthrowing their oppressors and rising to take their rightful place as God’s chosen people. Unfortunately, their expectations didn’t match up with God’s reality. Join us this Sunday as we see Zephaniah share with us how we should prepare for the Day of the Lord!
